Mike Greer Wins $129 Million Lottery (12/11/2010)
Whats Your REACTION?
In Detroit, Mike Greer and co. found themselves stuck in an ethical dilemma on 12th November 2010, when they found out that they had won a whopping, nearly $129 million on a lottery ticket that one member of their group (kept anonymous) purchased from an adult book store.
Mike Greer, a 49 year old from Farmington hills, came forward from the group (which chose to remain anonymous) to claim the snowball winnings and is reported to have said " The group has more than 2 members and less than a 100" to cause even more anonymity as far as the other members of the group are concerned.
Greer also said that he didn't purchase the ticket, therefore it can't be said for sure whether the ticket was purchased inside the adult bookstore
or at it's outside walk-up lottery window. Whatever the means and the degree of piety of the ticket purchase, Greer said on the behalf of the group that a part of the riches would be going to a church.
"The only thing I can assume is that the Lord trusted us to do certain things with the money that He bestowed upon us," he said. "Thats the only thing that I can gather."
The group will take it's winnings in a lump sum of $69.6 million instead of annual installments.
Is there an adult book store around here?
